I first encountered lampwork beads in an American beading magazine and although I admired them didn't think I would be able to make them myself.  I stumbled across a glass and equipment supplier when browsing the web for jewellery supplies and my new hobby was born.

I have been making my own beads since the beginning of 2008 in my South Coast garden studio. I make and sell lampwork beads both online and at various events through out the South of England.

  

I also work part time to help pay the mortgage and like to relax by with my grandchildren and (only if the weather is warm and the seas calm) sailing with my husband on our boat - Cabre.
